Win a copy of FEED ME!
UPDATE: We've got 149 entries. Woo-hoo! I'll be giving away 2 copies of the book!
Yep, I'm giving away a copy of Feed Me!: Writers Dish About Food, Eating, Weight, and Body Image, which I edited and which contains fabulous essays by writers like Caroline Leavitt, Joyce Maynard, Diana Abu-Jaber, Amity Gaige, Jenny Allen, Kate Harding, and many more. All you have to do to enter the drawing is send me your name and e-mail address before 1 p.m. on Monday, January 26. I will pick one lucky winner then.
To find out more about the book, click here and here. To read a digital galley of the intro and three essays, click here.
Good luck!

Harriet- I have a strange feeling I know exactly how you got that fork necklace! I'm so touched that it means so much to you. I wear mine frequently, too.
You're right about that, Carrie. And you're in the dedication to the book. :)
Is the email address to send you the info the one that appears in the About page?
Good question! You can email me at hnbrown at tds dot net. Or send a comment to this blog--all comments go through moderation and I will not publish yours, just take your name and email address.
I don't read the blog often enough to enter the contest, but I'm glad to see a reminder about the book! I remember it being mentioned on another blog awhile back but it went in one eye and out the other. (so to speak...)
I'm not entering since I already pre-ordered, but I can't wait to read it.
You said we could leave a comment to enter, so here is mine.

Thank you so much for this opportunity. Without great people like you, and the others on the fatosphere, giving away books on this subject there are those of us without the accessibility which would never have support and connection.
Harriet,
I am very interested in what you have to say. Salon was my entry into your blog but I also am 'fat/not fat' but while I occasionally devote time to starving myself frenetic exercise, usually I come to my senses and get real. I never have been one of those skinny bitches and never will be. I would like to be in better shape but have decided not to obsess about it. Definitely interested in your book. Please enter me in the contest.
Glad to enter you, DP, but I'll need your email addy. You can send it to me off the blog. Thanks for sharing!
I would love to read your book and loved the essay in Salon! Looking forward to reading more of your blog in the future.
