Change Is Good

Yes indeed.

But in the midst of such happy change, please remember to take a few deep breaths and practice loving what is. Because unlike our outgoing president, you are worthy of love and compassion, right now, as you are.

Haha! Unlike the outgoing president... I almost spit out my coffee! So funny. You just made my morning. :-)

Yeowch!

But I love it. :)

What a day. I've had a hard time peeling my eyes away from the TV all day. I even woke up early to watch the inauguration! (I'm in the Mountain time zone, so the inauguration started at 10 a.m. where I live. Plus, I work evenings/nights, so 10 a.m. is semi-early for me. So I'm not completely lame, except for the fact that I just took the time to explain this.)

Oh! Ha ha. I thought you meant "outgoing" as in sociable, and that you were referring to Obama. Hee hee. This is one of those eats shoots and leaves moments.

I didn't realize I'd done that until you pointed it out! :)

Jeez!!! I voted for Obama and I was no fan of Bush, to put it mildly. But to say Bush is not worthy of love and compassion? Harsh! The dude is still human! I'm probably taking your joke way too seriously, but being overly judgmental toward others goes hand-in-hand with being too judgmental of ourselves, I think.
