Memoirville
Here's an interesting interview about Brave Girl Eating on Memoirville, home of Smith Magazine's Six-Word Memoir Project. You'll have to get all the way to the end to read mine.
Note to self: Do not drop the F bomb during interviews.
No way--that F-bomb makes the interview! I *love* that quote and fully intend to steal it at some appropriate point in the future. And you are so right about the importance of getting rid of the stigma around these illnesses. I kept the secret of my brother's mental illness for years to "protect his privacy," and it caused nothing but pain and heartache for me and didn't help him in the least.
Thanks for the mention, though SMITH Magazine, smithmag.net, isn't associated with Smith College (though my wife Piper Kerman, herself a memoirist, did go to Smith College).
And come on over and check out SMITH Mag -- it's a great place for stories.

"I write so I'm not alone" = I love this!
Elbow Chronicles,
Don't we all? :)
I think the f-bomb makes the interview. :)
I'm so glad that you wrote this book! :)
